(b) How many total cups of sugar (white and brown) are there per serving? Show your work.
(c) Suppose you modify the recipe so that it makes 9 servings. How much more flour do you need for the modified recipe than you need for the original recipe? Show your work.

Respuesta :

1 1/2 divided by 6 is 1/4, so 1/4 of a cup of flour for each serving.

12 is the common denominator between 3/4 and 1/3,so 9/12 and 4/12,add them and you get 13/12,take 12 away from the top number and you get 1 1/12, so           1 1/12 is answer for 2

remember,1 serving is 1/4 of a cu of flour, and 9 is only 3 more than 6,so you just add in 3/4 to the flour, and that yould make it 2 1/4 cups of flour.

i hope this helps
