A=15.5× 5
A=75.5/2
A=37.85 sq.units
P= 15.14+8+7+4
P=34.14in.

This is a trapezoid, the area of which is:

A=height*(base1+base2)/2

A=5(19.14)/2

A=47.85 in^2

(bh/2 is the area of a triangle....not a trapezoid)

P=4+7+8+15.14=34.14 in
