4. Compare and contrast the treatment of Japanese Americans from Bainbridge Island to those from Seattle during the evacuation, the internment and the return to their communities. How were their experiences similar and different?
Japanese Americans who lived in Seattle were treated more Tuffly than those who are on the island. The reason for that is because the Japanese Americans located in Seattle were more on the West Coast and that was one year to Japan. Americans believe that some Japanese citizens were spying for the Japanese military. But those that were on an island or more secluded and the likelihood of them being spies was smaller so they were treated more kindly.unlike those in the Seattle they were forced to sell all of their belongings for very cheap or for free due to the fact that they were given a small amount of time to evacuate and they were forced to move into small horse pens
