The Indo-European languages are the biggest language family in the planet, having the biggest number of speakers, and being dispersed at by far the largest territory on the planet.
The language groups that belong in this language family are the Albanian, Armenian, Baltic, Slavic, Germanic, Celtic, Hellenic, Indo-Aryan, and Italic.
Some of these groups are widely distributed across the globe, while some are spoken only in small areas.
The Italic, Germanic, Slavic, and Indo-Aryan are spoken by very large number of people, and they are dispersed over very large territories. The Albanian, Celtic, Hellenic, are only spoken in small areas, by relatively small number of people compared to the more spoken ones.
