At 5 seconds, an object's velocity is 9 meters per second. At 8 seconds, the object's velocity is 25 meters per second. Assuming a constant acceleration, what is the acceleration in meters per second per second of the object? (If necessary, round to the nearest hundredth.)

Respuesta :

The formula for acceleration is (∆v)/(∆t), or (final velocity - initial velocity)/(final time - initial time). If you input your values the problem would work out as followed:

A = (∆v)/(∆t)
A = (25-9)/(8-5)
A = 16/3
A = 21.33 (rounded to the nearest hundredth)
