A ribbon pole is constructed for a festival. The angle of depression from the top of the pole to a child holding a ribbon is 35°. The child is holding the ribbon at a height of 1.2 meters. The length of the ribbon is 6 meters. How tall is the ribbon pole? Round to the nearest tenth.

sin(35°) = x/6 
x = 6sin(35°) ≅ 3.4 
height of pole = 3.4 + 1.2 = 4.6 m
